We are in charge of the Youth Mass on February 9. A few of you signed up last week. Youth: Please use check out the list of openings below and use the poll to sign up if you haven't already. I will have the paper sign up sheet at our regular Youth Night on Sunday.  Parents: Please check the list below and use the second poll to confirm that your youth is able to be at Mass at 8:30 am on the 9th. 

Even if you don't sign up for a roll please attend and support those who are serving! 

Also, we are celebrating Scout Sunday on the 9th. If you are Scout, please wear your uniform. Younger Scouts are also being invited to attend Mass in uniform and can help us out if we need.

We currently have 12 youth signed up for the Mission trip! There are a few of you I don't have clear yes or no from. Please let me know as soon as you can. I don't want anyone to miss out because the site filled up before we could increase our registration. I am so excited to have so many participating this year! I am confident we will have a great time.

Along with the increased youth we have to increase our adult chaperones. YNIA has a 1 adult to every 5 youth ratio we must maintain. In anticipation of our larger group this year I have been trying to find an adult that might be willing to help out, and Fr. Jeff Core has offered to fill this roll! Most of you know him from his time as Pastor at Sacred Heart. For those who don't know him; He is currently Pastor at St. Thomas More, so his summers are light, and he is already Safe Environment trained and background checked. In addition, before he was a priest he worked for the Center for Ministry Development (YNIA's Parent company), and has been on YNIA Mission Trips with youth groups before. He is used to distance driving and is very approachable. For all these reasons I believe he would make an excellent addition to the team. However, these are your teens so I want to make sure all parents have input on the chaperones. If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know. If you would like to meet Fr. Jeff, you can find him at St. Thomas More at 10:00 am & 7:00 pm every Sunday, and 5:30 pm Tuesday - Friday. Just say "hi" before or after Mass!

If no one has any objections, I would like to invite him to our next Mission Trip meeting. Speaking of which, I would like to have one soon with the whole group so we can discuss fundraising, travel plans, and sightseeing. I have a couple of options below. Please vote on polls 1-3 in order of preference.
