Women's Retreat
All women are invited to our free retreat Saturday, Oct. 18, 9 AM - 2 pm at Sacred Heart.
Our theme is "Women Disciples of Jesus." Spend a day exploring powerful examples of women of faith and discipleship in the Gospel of Luke.

Parish Game Night
Everyone is invited Sunday, October 19, at 5:30 pm in the social hall. We'll have a fantastic selection of board games (from classics to modern favorites) and a whole lot of FREE PIZZA to fuel the competition (or just your hungry stomach!). It’s a perfect chance to meet others, relax, and enjoy some good old-fashioned fun. Bring the whole gang along with your favorite game and enjoy an evening of laughter and memories. Don't miss out!

Coffee and Donuts Host
All are invited to sign up to host coffee and doughnuts. You can choose to set up before and serve after the 8:30 Mass, serve and clean up after the 11:00 Mass, or sign up to do a whole Sunday. Instructions will be provided to those who have never hosted before. It can be done by one or two but is more fun with a group. Feel free to invite some friends or family to help you host!

Our Catholic Women’s group, Sacred Heart Women of Service, meets Tuesday, Oct. 21, at 6:30 pm in the social hall.
All Catholic women are invited to come, meet new friends, pray together, and help organize parish events and charity fundraisers.
Social Justice Ministry meeting, 7 pm, Wednesday, Oct. 22, in the Holy Family Room and on Zoom. All are invited! Many projects are ongoing and need your help.
Mary Sutherland's retirement party is on Sunday, October 26, between the morning Masses in the social hall. Please come and wish her well. There will be cake!
Glass Recycling: We collect clean glass bottles and jars for recycling in the church parking lot from 4 pm Sat, Oct. 25, to 1 pm Sun, Oct. 26. Please bring glass in cardboard boxes and put it in the trailer in the church parking lot.
We also collect screw-on metal lids for glass bottles and jars. Lids must be in a plastic bag. Thank you!

Dear parishioners,
It is with incredibly mixed emotions, but with deepest gratitude, that we announce the retirement of our beloved Parish Secretary and Bulletin Editor, Mary Sutherland. Her final official day of service is October 16. For nearly 28 years, Mary has been the kind and consistent presence that has sustained our parish office. From her start in November 1997, Mary’s role grew from just 10 hrs/wk editing the bulleting to encompassing nearly every facet of our parish activity. She has been a huge support to the church.
Mary is the most kind and understanding person many of us have had the privilege to encounter. She truly cared for others, making time to build personal connections and friendships with those she interacted with, turning her job into a true ministry. This compassion also fueled her steadfast dedication as the Chair of the Catholic Daughters/Women of Service over several years.
In her own words, Mary expressed her deep gratitude for how “kind, understanding, and encouraging” this parish family and her coworkers have been, making her job “very fulfilling and rewarding.” Mary, we extend our gratitude immeasurably. Your unwavering dedication to the Lord and this parish family has created a lasting legacy of love and service. You will be missed greatly in the parish office, and we pray your retirement is filled with every happiness and blessing!
