Dear parishioners,
My last official day as parish bulletin editor and secretary is October 16. I want to express my deep gratitude to this wonderful parish family. You have made this a very fulfilling and rewarding job for almost 28 years. People have always been kind, understanding, and encouraging. And I have had amazing coworkers!
The job has grown from 10 hours a week when I started working with Fr. Tom Caswell in November of 1997 to close to 25 hours now. Please extend the same patience and understanding to Jessica Ortiz-Eriamiatoe, as she takes over the bulletin, email bulletin, web page, mass announcements, reader board, answering the phone, making appointments, taking meeting notes, etc., etc.!
John and I do not plan to leave Pullman, and hope to have more time to visit with all of you!

Women's Retreat
All women are invited to our free retreat Saturday, October 18, 2025, 9:00 AM - 2:00 pm at Sacred Heart.
Our theme is "Women Disciples of Jesus." Spend a day immersing yourself in the Gospel of Luke to explore powerful examples of women of faith and discipleship.

Parish Game Night
Everyone is invited Sunday, October 19, at 5:30 pm in the social hall. We'll have a fantastic selection of board games (from classics to modern favorites) and a whole lot of FREE PIZZA to fuel the competition (or just your hungry stomach!). It’s a perfect chance to meet others, relax, and enjoy some good old-fashioned fun. Bring the whole gang along with your favorite game and enjoy an evening of laughter and memories. Don't miss out!

CRS: Urgent Relief for Survival in Gaza
Gazan families are enduring catastrophic conditions as basic necessities for survival vanish. "The situation in Gaza and across the Middle East cries out for the assistance of the Catholic community of the United States," said Archbishop Timothy P. Broglio, president of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops.
The Sacred Heart Caritas Committee approved a donation of $1,000 to Catholic Relief Services for their work in Gaza. Parishioners who would like to include a donation of any amount to send with the Caritas donation can donate online on our website by selecting "Caritas-CRS Gaza". If you would like to make a donation via check, please make payable to "Sacred Heart Parish" with "Caritas-CRS Gaza" in the memo line.

Coffee and Donuts Host
All are invited to sign up to host coffee and doughnuts. You can choose to set up before and serve after the 8:30 Mass, serve and clean up after the 11:00 Mass, or sign up to do a whole Sunday. Instructions will be provided to those who have never hosted before. It can be done by one or two but is more fun with a group. Feel free to invite some friends or family to help you host!

Children's Faith Formation
There are NO classes for grades pre-K through 6 this Sunday, October 12 due to the three-day weekend. We will have class October 19 & 26.
Sacrament Prep Oct. 26: Our next family meeting for Sacrament Preparation will be Sunday, October 26, 12-1:30 pm. Pizza will be provided for lunch.
