Glass Recycling: We collect clean glass bottles and jars for recycling in the church parking lot from 4 pm Sat, Nov. 25, to 1 pm Sun, Nov. 26. Please bring glass in cardboard boxes and put it in the trailer in the church parking lot. We also collect screw-on metal lids for glass bottles and jars. Lids must be in a plastic bag. Thank you!

There are many people in difficult circumstances needing help with rent. The Community Action Center is very low on funds to help with rent, also, so we are doing what we can.

Our Lady of Guadalupe play rehearsal, etc.
All parish children are invited to participate in a bilingual play that tells the story of Our Lady of Guadalupe. There are no speaking parts, the children act out the story while adults read it. The play is at 6:30 am Tuesday, December 12, during the celebration of the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

Catholicism Video Series: Tuesday, Nov. 28, 6:30 pm, in the Holy Family Room. For anyone who would like a refresher on Catholicism basics. We gather once/month to watch Bishop Robert Barron’s Catholicism video series. The November topic is "The Teachings of Jesus."
New Catholic Women’s Group at Sacred Heart. Our Catholic Daughters group is disconnecting from the national organization. We invite all parish women to join a new women’s group! We are meeting to organize it at 6:30 pm Thursday, Nov. 30, in the social hall. Please come help us start this renewed ministry.
First Friday Mass is celebrated at 3 pm, Friday, December 1, in the Bishop Place Senior Living assisted living activity room. All are welcome to attend.

Advent Diaper Drive. Our PREPARES group is collecting diapers and wipes from Nov. 26 through December 20 for local food banks and agencies. We need any size of diapers, but sizes 5 & 6, sizes 4T & 5T pull-ups, and diapers and wipes for sensitive skin are especially needed. Please put donations in the marked box in the church entrance. Wanted: Christmas Cards!
The Social Justice Ministry is collecting Christmas Cards (along with Jefferson Elementary School) for residents at Bishop Place, Regency, Avalon, and Pioneer Square. Last year we were able to deliver cards to over 300 people.
There will be a box labeled Christmas Care Cards in the church's entryway from December 2 to 19 for you to drop off cards. We will provide blank cards and paper in the church's entryway for those who would like to pick up cards to write in or make their own Christmas cards.
We also will have supplies in the social hall to make cards during coffee and donuts after the morning Masses.
Last year the personal notes and homemade cards were greatly appreciated!

EARTHQUAKE STRIKES MOROCCO
Help families today with critical relief

On Friday, September 8, a magnitude 6.8 earthquake struck Morocco near Marrakech.
The impact of the quake was felt as far north as Casablanca, though its epicenter was in the High Atlas Mountains, where hard-to-reach communities suffered the most severe damage. More than 300,000 people are affected and at least 2,490 were killed. Access to remote areas with the worst destruction—especially in mountain towns—remains difficult.
This is the strongest earthquake to hit Morocco in over a century.
Catholic Relief Services is supporting Caritas Rabat, whose teams mobilized a response within 24 hours to the hardest-to-reach areas. Parallel to a robust response from the Moroccan government and bilateral assistance from a number of countries, Caritas has identified priority areas for support where essential relief supplies will be sent to families in the coming days.
